What started as a cherished family recipe passed down through three generations in the sun-drenched hills of Naples has found a wonderful new home right here in Farnham Common.

Cavanis Pizza was born from an unshakeable belief that great pizza changes people's lives — even if just for a few blissful minutes. Founded by the Cavanis family, our story begins in the sun-soaked countryside of Campania, southern Italy, where Nonna Rosa first perfected her dough recipe in a centuries-old stone kitchen.
When the family made their home here, they brought with them every secret, every technique, and every ounce of passion that made Rosa's pizza legendary in her village. Today, that same love is kneaded into every ball of dough we stretch by hand each morning at our home in Farnham Common.
We are not a chain. We are not a franchise. We are a family — and when you walk through our doors at Unit 1 Pelican House, you become part of that family. Our wood-fired oven, imported stone by stone from Napoli, reaches 450°C and produces a pizza in 90 seconds flat — blistered, smoky, and utterly magnificent.
